This moring I had an hour going spare before going to school, so I decided to write an early post to be more organised.
What are we supposed to do with our albums? What were they designed for? What's the difference between a good and bad album?
All these questions have just been floating around my head as I write this post. Lately I can't find an album that I really like, it's annoying me. I'm trying to decorate my album so it looks edgy and eyecatching, but am not having much luck :( I really want to interact with the readers with this post- so answer these questions for a feature in the next post, plus a gift in your suite (not a cupcake):
What would be your perfect album?
Tell me about your album?
Do you think having an album as a magazine is a good idea?
Love Georgie xx
This is a very difficult area... and I am so glad you've decided to post about it.
ReplyDeleteWhen I look at the albums that have won best album, I usually do not agree with the vote. Mostly because they are just showing off their expensive clothes, i.e. LE, DKNY, etc.
I have no idea what a perfect album is, but it should show LOTS OF WORK AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL. I am not a big fan of 'posing' unless it is done extraordinarily well... which is rarely the case.
My album is simply a record of outfits that I've come up with over time, and some of my friends as well. It's certainly nothing special. But since I've named it Jana's Stardolls, that's what it is.
Magazines: YUCK.
I disagree with Jana. I really like the concept of a magazine album. I think this shows that dolls have spend time thinking, creating and working on their album's mag. I don't mind what the theme is, as long as time has been spend on it. Also, you can't say an album is a space with a few dolls. It's pathetic, showing a lack of enthusiasm and work. I also particularly like albums that copy their suites, eg. having the same room on the album as in the suite.
ReplyDeleteI don't know, that's just my opinion!
thanks for the comments xx
