Dream Wardrobe - Mixing it up with Hotbuys

Hey everybody! I'm back with a mixed Dream Wardrobe post.. there's two twists:

1. This isn't just focusing on one brand

2. This is my wardrobe...

And we're mostly focusing on Hotbuys, but the second picture is LE and the last picture is ELLE, these are some of my favourite hotbuys:

Hot Buys Peace Leggings!

Hey!

The newest Hot Buy hit Stardoll today was some amazing peace-printed leggings. Simple yet elegant, these leggings will go with anything and everything. They arepriced at 11SD- which is cheap for what the are, considering that they are Hot Buys and from the Queen of black clothes, Evil Panda.I love the design on the leggings, and they aren't too OTT. The colour is very easy to mix with and can make a simple outfit unique. I love them! What are your opinions? I have on picture of what they may be inspired by
but I don't know the designer sadly. If you have a real life version that is like these leggings, please let me know!

I tried to make an outfit with these gorgeous leggings, here it is: What do you think? Did I pull off the 'rock' look?

I kept with the dark theme to create the rock look! The blouse and bandeau are from Bonjour Bizou and the shoes are from Film Theory! I left out accessories because I believe this is up to personal taste!

Hot Buys Mixtape Top!

Hey!

The Hot Buys Mixed Tape top was release onto the shelves of Fudge in the Starpalaza today! It is a gorgeous pink cropped top, priced at 16SD from the shop famous for great designs, Fudge. Stardoll even likes it that much that it's been made Pick Of The Day! I love the vibrant colours and the contrast between the pink and the white. I think that the pattern is really unique and love how it links in with one of my favorite hobbies-music. I also like the complex design of the top- this show that Stardoll are trying to improve their graphics!

New Hot Buys Bag!

Hey Dolls!

I was checking out the starpalaza just a few seconds ago, and noticed these two gorgeous heart shaped bags! I clicked on them and realized they are the new hot buys! Wow, 2 beautiful bags in 2 different colours! Thanks Stardoll! They are priced at 12SD each, pretty reasonable, don't you agree? I really love the snakeskin effect- so gorgeous and so in season! I also this the on-trend stars make the bag look extra special!

Hey Dolls!

Remember last month when I introduced the 'Previous Hot Buys' section? Well, I'm back again today, showing you the Hot Buys from October 2009. The First October Hotbuy And a Non Ss Alternative!

Hello Readers,

Today I'm talking about the first of the october hotbuys, released today in the starbazar. The item in question- a colourful necklace at 13sd from Rio. A statement item for any outfit, the necklace features pink feather detail and a gold coloured ring in the centre. Admitantly it's not one of my favourite hotbys we've seen so far and the price is a little high for my liking.


A non superstar alternative for those who want to keep on trend without paying for a membership. At only 39sc from Riviera the blue seabreeze necklace also offers the same type of detail as seen on the original hotbuy complete with bright colours which go with most outfits.

New Hotbuys, October

Latest Hotbuys Emerald Bag!

Good afternoon  Readers,

Today Stardoll brought out the latest hotbuy in the form of an emerald green and ebony tote bag. Priced at 14sd from Rio the bag is pretty good value for money in my opinion. The 'snake skin' effect - a big trend seen on catwalks everywhere at fall fashion week features on the bag and fit's in with it's chic look. 

Unfortunatly there were no graphics on the 'pick of the day' picture, unlike the previos hotbuys shoes. Were the graphics a one off? We'll have to wait and see.

Hotbuys Hooded Terrier

Hello Readers,

Today Stardoll brought out a hotbuy... It wasn't your average hotbuy though. With 4 legs and tons of fur this is the first four legged hotbuy to hit the shops. Terriers are my favourite dogs and with it's cute purple and grey hoodie, it looks so cute. It's a little pricey I have to admit at 26 stardollars. However I have a feeling it will be worth way more in the future. As soon as I have enough he will be in my suite within the week xx

Hot Buys 60's Swirl Dress

Hey Dolls!

Stardoll has released the latest September Hot Buy. It is a 60's inspired dress from Decades. When I first saw the dress on another Stardoll blog post, I thought: "OMG! I'm so buying that dress!" Then I read further and realized that it is priced at 23SD. This has slightly put me off buying it. Hot Buys don't really suit their name anymore. Hot Buys from a few years ago used to be 2,3,4, or 5SD not 15-25SD!! Anyway, I love the colour scheme of this dress. All the colours fit really well together and the dress looks fab as a whole! What are your opinions? Will you buy it because it's a Hot Buy, because you like it or will you not buy it at all? Let me know what you think...I like it!

Hot Buys Pink Cheetah Cardigan

Hey Dolls!

The newest Hot Buy has been released on Stardoll today. It is a leopard print short cardigan from Rio. It is priced at 18SD and for SuperStars only. I think the cardigan is gorgeous, but over-priced. This is putting me off buying it, as I don't have many SD's left. I think the detail on the cardigan has been deigned well and the graphics are fab. It looks really pretty on my doll, but I don't think I'm gonna buy it because of the price? Do you know the inspiration for this top? The nearest I can find is here. Let me know if you can find a better one!

Hot Buys Pink Cheetah Top

Hello all,

Yesterday stardoll brought another of the September hotbuys. I quite like the top personally as the leopard print goes with many of the items in my wardrobe. Collecting hotbuys has become a hobby of mine since starting the site. At only 17sd from fudge the top fits many styles and features bright pink rouching detail around the bottom similar to the black belt in the one of the previous months collection.

What are you opinions and will you be buying ?

Hot Buys Bead Necklace!

Hey Dolls!

How are you all? Today, Stardoll release the 2nd Hot Buy of September. It is a beaded necklace from Folk. Priced at 10SD, I think I is slightly over-priced for the poor graphics of the necklace. The design is very beautiful, up-to-date and pretty, but I think the graphics and the colour lets it down. Also, I think this will be hard to incorporate into an outfit, as it is quite long.Sadly, this is the 2nd Hot Buy this September that I will not be buying. Hopefully they will get better!

Hot Buys Roar Tee

Hello readers,

I aplogise for not posting yesterday, as I met up with my best friend and fellow writer Rachel, to do some serious shopping!

The second hotbuy of September was brought out yesterday, and priced at only 15sd! The lion face print T-shirt is available from the stardoll store and looks amazing! It's the top that's got the people talking and the focal point of any outifit. The real life version came from Topshop, priced at only £20 both you and your medoll can look fierce!

I bought the item but am not sure what to wear it with, any suggestions?

Hot Buys Feather Drop Earrings

Hey Dolls! How are you?

Firstly, Happy September! I hope you all can't wait to go back to school (._.). Anyway, a new month on Stardoll means 10 brilliant new Hot Buys, the first one has been released today. It is in the form of Feather Drop Earrings from Glam'rus.  They cost 11SD, quite reasonable in the HotBuys category, but they are just earrings! Personally, I tried them on my doll and thought they didn't really suit my skin tone. So, for me it's a no-no. But if your a HotBuys collector like many SS on Stardoll, then I think you'll buy them. I'm not completely convinced on the colour scheme either, I think they are a bit dull. Well, that's just what I think. I'm sure you'll have other opinions!

Hot Buys Chevron Leggings & Interview Results

Latest Hotbuy!

The latest hotbuys was brought out today in the form of Chevron Leggings. Priced at only 15sd from pretty in love you are really getting your moneys worth! They tie in with the general pink theme of the hotbuys this month, however are completely individual featuring dark sheer material- a major catwalk trend this fall. Darker colours unfortunatly don't suit my medoll, so I will not be buying :/ What are your thoughts though?
